Neha Joshi has returned from Doha (Qatar), where she presented her research at the International Coastal Symposium 2024. Her paper entitled “Monitoring pre- and post-industrialization changes in Sept-Îles Bay using foraminifera as bioindicators” was selected as one of the Symposium's top three papers!
Neha is our student member, carrying out her PhD project at Université Laval under the supervision of our co-resercher members, Émilie Saulnier-Talbot and Jean Carlos Montero Serrano. Let's also mention the involvement of Charlène Lefebvre, our master's student member at ULAVAL.
This recognition underscores the importance of her research on benthic foraminifera as bioindicators of environmental change in coastal zones. Neha looks forward to continuing her collaborations and contributing to future promising marine and coastal research.
Quebec-Ocean is proud to support its students throughout their studies, enabling them to attend and present their research both here and internationally.
Well done Neha!
