Québec-Océan and/or the student committee of the group organize activities for the public, often in connection with recognized events. Regardless of their institution, members can submit their proposals to the main coordination or the assistant coordination.

Québec-Océan will celebrate World Oceans Day on June 8 by unveiling the recipients of its Awards of Excellence. - The Joint Publication Award is intended to recognize the cohesiveness of researchers within the cluster. The prize is therefore awarded to all authors, although the first author is their spokesperson. The publication must have been produced by at least two research members of Québec-Océan and must have won the most points in the criteria of impact, structuring effect, originality, and clarity. - The student publication prize is awarded to the first author of a research paper that stands out for its impact, originality, and clarity. - The Media Outreach Award is given to a researcher who has done particularly well in disseminating his/her research in the media. |
