Summary:
Whale Seeker is a Canadian company developing ethical AI tools for rapid, automated and accurate visual detection of marine fauna to simplify monitoring for all those involved in the marine environment. This presentation will introduce Whale Seeker, its applications and its R&D challenges. Through our case study, published in 2023 in Frontiers in Marine Science, we will present our "human-in-the-loop" AI approach to analyzing large-scale aerial images.
