2022 will be the year of the oceans
The year 2022 will be the year of the oceans, concluded some 30 heads of state who met at the One Ocean Summit in Brest on February 9, 10, and 11. Governments and organizations recognize the importance of the oceans as climate regulators and will implement actions to protect the high seas, fight plastic and map the seabed.
