An intersectoral mission on board the Coriolis II

Since October 8, a transdisciplinary team led by Jean-Carlos Montero-Serrano (UQAR), Audrey Limoges (University of New Brunswick), and Alexandre Normandeau (Geological Survey of Canada) has been aboard the M/V Coriolis II for a ten-day mission between Rimouski and Sainte-Anne-des-Monts. This mission will allow studying the seabed and the natural risks associated with sediment remobilization in the St. Lawrence maritime estuary.

This mission, financed by the Réseau Québec maritime (RQM) and MEOPAR (Marine Environmental Observation, Prediction and Response Network, a national network of centers of excellence in Canada), will also allow the collection of creative writing material to explore the creative and reflexive potential of encounters between art, literature, philosophy, and science in the Anthropocene era.
