Québec-Ocean has celebrated the World Oceans Day 🌊 by presenting its awards of excellence to highlight the science that hides behind the perception we have of the marine environment.
🌊 Québec-Ocean 2020 Joint Publication Award 🌊
The joint publication award was given to the paper by David Beauchesne (U. Laval) and his collaborators on the characterization of environmental stressors and knowledge sharing through the e-Drivers platform. Several members of Québec-Océan are involved in this article: professors Clément Chion (UQO), Al Mucci (McGill U.), Simon Bélanger and Pascal Bernatchez (UQAR) and Philippe Archambault (U. Laval); researchers Peter Galbraith, Michel Starr and Chris McKindsey and biologist Marjolaine Blais from Fisheries and Oceans Canada, as well as Camille Lavoie, student at U. Laval and Rémi Daigle, postdoctoral researcher at U. Laval.
